About me

Hi! I am Ivan Mrvalj – Professional Painter

I am originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, studied under artist and private professor Ostoja Djuric in Djuric’s art gallery. I have been in the states since 2000. In the first phase of my art career I dealt mostly with ink and combinations of different techniques, than later in my career I focused more on using oil paint on canvas.

I find inspiration in my own imagination, realistic view of life and nature with details of Bosnia and Herzegovina folk.

I paint every day, sometimes it’s personal, other times it’s for clients.

I think artists must paint from the heart .
